Dark Knight sequel being written exclamation point

Deadline Hollywood has a story about David Goyer leaving TV show FlashForward that has some information that should have gotten a post to itself.  The Dark Knight sequel is in the process of being written!  Excerpt from the story:

Of course, Goyer’s feature career is really heating up, since he co-wrote Batman Begins, and penned the story for The Dark Knight, and is now writing the third Batman installment with Chris Nolan’s brother Jonah.

The internet can’t convey how happy I am to hear this is starting to move forward.  Stay tuned for any further news on this that might arise.
